Training Problem Solvers for Digital Difficulties Experienced by the Elderly in Daily Life
The city of Guri, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 4th that it will operate a 'Digital Literacy Lifelong Education Instructor Training Course' as part of its efforts to further strengthen citizens' capabilities.
This course will be held a total of six times from the 18th of this month to December 27th, and will be conducted in two classes at the Galmae Lifelong Learning Center and the Sutaek Lifelong Learning Center.
Participants who meet the completion requirements and pass the written exam will receive a Level 2 Digital Literacy Educator certificate.
Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri said, "Through this education, we expect to strengthen the capabilities of Guri citizens and help solve digital-related difficulties experienced by the elderly in daily life."
Enrollment for this course is currently underway through the integrated reservation portal on the Guri Lifelong Learning Center website. For more details, inquiries can be made to the Lifelong Learning Division of Guri City Hall.
Meanwhile, since being selected as a 'Lifelong Learning City' by the Ministry of Education in August 2005, Guri City was designated as a 'Lifelong Learning City for the Disabled' in March 2023, supporting various activities so that all citizens can enjoy lifelong learning.
