Providing Multifaceted Learning Strategies for the Changing Admission System
The city of Guri, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 4th that it will hold the second half briefing sessions on the '2025 College Entrance Exam Strategy' over three days on the 15th, 21st, and 22nd at the Dream Hall on the 5th floor of the Guri Youth Culture House.
The theme is '2025 College Entrance Exam Strategy,' covering topics such as 'Understanding and Preparing for College Entrance Reform Plans and Admission Processes' and 'Getting into College through Comprehensive Student Records Screening.' The lecturers will be Kim Seong-gil from Incheon Okryeon Girls' High School, Jo Manki from Namyangju Dasan High School, and Yoon Yoon-gu from Seoul Handong High School.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for 110 people through the Guri City Integrated Reservation Portal Service. The approximately two-hour session will guide attendees through the changing 2025 entrance exam strategies and include a Q&A session to address participants' questions on site.
The city expects this briefing to be a valuable opportunity to provide multifaceted learning strategies to prospective high school students (current 9th graders), prospective 12th graders (current 10th and 11th graders), and their parents preparing for college entrance exams within the jurisdiction, helping them adapt to the evolving admission system.
Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri stated, "I hope that many will participate in this briefing session, which offers strategies according to various admission types, to systematically establish college entrance exam strategies for Guri students and gain essential information effectively."
