The project involved 16 high school students from Jeonnam who had participated in the East Asian Youth Global Citizenship Glocal Camp during the "2024 Korea Glocal Future Education Expo" in May. Prior to the full-scale operation of the project, the students enhanced their readiness through two preparatory sessions conducted both in-person and online.

The students visited the 798 Art District to understand the flow of contemporary art connecting the past and present, and explored Pingyao Ancient City and Henggong Temple to directly experience Chinese history and culture. On October 31, they participated in curriculum classes at Shanxi Province experimental middle and high schools and continued their "Glocal Friendship" with the Chinese students they had met in May.

Korean and Chinese students engaged in mutual exchange activities about their school lives, history, and culture, sharing the outcomes of the East Asian Youth Global Citizenship Camp and exchanging various educational and cultural experiences.

Kim Dae-jung, Superintendent of the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education, stated, "This program has greatly helped students establish their identity as global citizens and enhance their understanding of cultural diversity. We will continue to operate such programs to nurture talents with international sensibilities."
