Dong-A Membership Group Open Wins by One Stroke
Third Career Victory Since June 2021 Match Play

On the 3rd, at the Jangsu Golf Resort (Par 71, 7,165 yards) in Jangsu-gun, Jeonbuk, during the final 4th round of the KPGA Tour Dong-A Membership Group Open (total prize money 700 million KRW), he shot a 4-under-par 67 to secure a 1-stroke victory (19-under-par 265). This marked his third career win, his first since the Descente Korea Munsingwear Match Play in June 2021, with a winner's prize of 140 million KRW. Starting as a co-leader by one stroke, he showcased perfect play with four birdies and no bogeys.
Jo Woo-young fired an 8-under-par round but settled for a tie for 2nd place (18-under-par 266). Park Eun-shin also joined this group. Song Min-hyuk, who was co-leader the previous day, shot 2-under-par and dropped to a tie for 4th place (17-under-par 267). Lee Dae-han tied for 4th, Bae Yong-jun and Kim Han-byeol tied for 6th (16-under-par 268), Lee Chang-woo finished 8th (15-under-par 269), and Lee Soo-min, Kim Seung-hyuk, and Hwang Do-yeon tied for 9th (14-under-par 270).

Jang Yoo-bin finished the tournament tied for 25th (7-under-par 277). Prior to this event, Jang Yoo-bin led the Genesis Points standings and maintained a gap of over 1,000 points ahead of second-place Kim Min-gyu, securing the honor of winning this year’s Genesis Award regardless of the outcome of the season finale, the Tour Championship.
As a special privilege for the Genesis Award, he will receive a bonus prize of 200 million KRW and a Genesis vehicle. Additionally, he earned direct entry to the final stage of the PGA Tour Qualifying (Q) School, an invitation to the 2025 PGA Tour Genesis Scottish Open, a 5-year KPGA Tour card, and a 1-year DP World Tour (formerly European Tour) card. Jang Yoo-bin said, "I didn’t expect to receive the award this quickly," and added, "I will work on improving my putting and focus on preparing for the PGA Tour Q School final stage."
