Aired on the 2nd: Special Episode of 'Mul Geonneoon Yuhaksaeng'
Comedian Lee Jin-ho, who admitted to illegal gambling, was spotted in a scene from a broadcast together with Lee Soo-geun, who had lent him money.
The JTBC variety show 'Knowing Bros' aired on the 2nd featured a special episode titled 'Exchange Students from Overseas.' Guests included Brian from the duo Fly to the Sky, Australian broadcaster Sam Hammington, Julie from the group Kiss of Life, and Natti.
Lee Jin-ho, who recently left broadcasting due to illegal gambling charges, also appeared wearing a school uniform, drawing attention.
When Kang Ho-dong asked Lee Soo-geun, who was dressed as a firefighter, "Why aren't you wearing a school uniform?" Lee Soo-geun replied, "Lee Soo-geun? Did you report me?" and then slapped him. Lee Soo-geun continued the skit, saying, "Didn't I tell you not to make fake reports? Why are you ordering delivery through 119?" Kim Young-chul wore a prison guard uniform, Lee Sang-min wore a coast guard uniform, Kim Hee-chul wore a police uniform, and Min Kyung-hoon wore a military uniform, expressing gratitude to uniformed workers.
During a conversation among the cast, Lee Jin-ho's face appeared behind a close-up of Lee Soo-geun. It was revealed that Lee Jin-ho had caused not only financial damage but also other harm by borrowing money from acquaintances using Lee Soo-geun's name while appearing on the same program.
On October 14, Lee Jin-ho posted on his social media, "In 2020, by chance, I started playing games on an illegal online gambling site and ended up with debts I couldn't handle. Thanks to the stern advice of acquaintances and the fear that I might not be able to continue the work I love, I came to my senses late and was able to quit gambling, but by then I had already received financial help from many people." He confessed, "I am steadily repaying the money every month, and I plan to repay all this debt with my own strength until I die," causing controversy.

Regarding this, the 'Knowing Bros' production team stated on the same day that after Lee Jin-ho admitted to illegal gambling, "Lee Jin-ho will be stepping down from filming starting this week," and added, "We plan to edit out as much as possible from the footage already filmed before broadcasting."
The police are investigating Lee Jin-ho not only for illegal gambling but also for allegations of loan fraud. Woo Jong-soo, head of the National Investigation Headquarters, said at a regular press briefing on the 28th of last month that they had received a petition accusing Lee Jin-ho of gambling and loan fraud against acquaintances. Woo explained, "The Gangnam Police Station has conducted a suspect investigation of Lee, and we will proceed with the investigation sequentially according to procedures."
Lee Jin-ho appeared at the police station on the 22nd of last month and was questioned regarding charges of illegal gambling and fraud.
