[Tomorrow's Weather] Mostly Cloudy Nationwide with Rain in Some Areas... Temperatures Drop from the Morning of the 5th

Highest Temperatures on the 4th Afternoon: 15~22°C

On Monday the 4th, the whole country will be mostly cloudy, with occasional clouds increasing from the afternoon.


From dawn to daytime, there will be occasional rain in the central region (except the eastern coast of Gangwon), and in the Jeolla region; in the afternoon, there will be occasional rain in Jeju Island. Between morning and afternoon, there may be places in the western inland of Gyeongsang where raindrops less than 0.1mm fall.

The expected precipitation on the 3rd and 4th is around 5mm in Seoul, southern Gyeonggi, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, the five western islands, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Chungbuk, and less than 5mm in Gwangju, Jeonnam, Jeonbuk, and Jeju Island.


The morning low temperature is forecasted to be between 7 and 16 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 15 and 22 degrees Celsius. The low and high temperatures for major regions are Seoul (15~17°C), Incheon (16~17°C), Chuncheon (14~17°C), Daejeon (12~19°C), Gwangju (12~20°C), Sejong (13~18°C), Daegu (10~20°C), Busan (13~22°C), Ulsan (9~21°C), and Jeju (16~22°C). Temperatures until the morning will be higher than the average (morning lows 1~10°C, daytime highs 15~19°C), but after the rain stops and cold air moves southward, daytime temperatures will be similar to the average, and temperatures will drop significantly on the morning of the 5th.


Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' nationwide. However, the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungnam will temporarily experience 'Unhealthy' levels in the morning.


In most regions nationwide, winds will be strong with gusts around 55 km/h, and winds will be stronger in the mountainous areas of Gangwon, so caution is advised for facility management and safety accidents.


In the offshore waters of the West Sea, the central East Sea, the northern offshore waters of the southern East Sea, the western coastal waters of Jeju Island, the inner southwestern offshore waters of Jeju Island (offshore waters about 200 km from the coastline), and the outer southern offshore waters of Jeju Island, winds will gradually become very strong and waves will rise high.


Wave heights will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the nearshore East Sea, 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the nearshore West Sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the nearshore South Sea. In the inner offshore waters, wave heights are predicted to be 0.5 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea.
