Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 1st that it will operate the 'Youth Startup School' program for about 20 young people in the city starting from the 23rd.
The Youth Startup School is a practical training program that consolidates all information about startups step-by-step, from basic entrepreneurship to advanced management, and will be conducted over four weeks for young people who have already started or are preparing to start a business in the city.
The curriculum includes △ Basic Entrepreneurship △ Methods to Secure Startup Funds △ Building a Business Model △ Writing a Business Plan, and is designed as a professional and systematic curriculum to learn the entire startup process by topic.
The city will provide lecture materials and expert advanced consulting free of charge to the Youth Startup School students, and those who achieve 100% attendance will receive additional points during the 2025 Youth Startup Center residency evaluation.
A Namyangju City official said, "We hope this training will be an opportunity for young people dreaming of starting a business to develop practical skills and learn sustainable growth strategies."
The Youth Startup School began accepting applications on a first-come, first-served basis from the 30th of last month, and any young person aged 19 to 39 residing in Namyangju City can apply.
