Customized Policy Finance Support for Resident Companies

On the 3rd, Korea Development Bank announced that on the 1st, it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the successful development of national advanced industrial complexes and customized policy financial support for tenant companies, attended by Kang Seok-hoon, Chairman of Korea Development Bank, and Lee Han-jun, President of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH).

In March, the government decided at the 14th Emergency Economic and Livelihood Meeting to promote the establishment of 15 national advanced industrial complexes nationwide as a key national policy goal to build an advanced industrial ecosystem. Accordingly, Korea Development Bank and Korea Land and Housing Corporation agreed to cooperate for the successful development of national advanced industrial complexes, aiming to secure cutting-edge technology superiority in advanced industries, strengthen global competitiveness, and build a robust industrial ecosystem.

The two institutions plan to cooperate by securitizing the sales receivables of tenant companies in the national advanced industrial complexes to timely procure project funds for industrial complex development, provide one-stop customized financial products and services for prospective tenant companies, and offer and arrange financial advisory services related to the new development of national advanced industrial complexes.

After the MOU signing ceremony, Chairman Kang Seok-hoon visited the planned site of the Yongin System Semiconductor Cluster National Industrial Complex, which is being prioritized among the 15 national advanced industrial complexes nationwide, and said, "We will continue to actively support financing for the national advanced industrial complexes to be developed and tenant companies, securing the growth potential of our economy and actively contributing to balanced national land development."
