Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 1st that it will officially operate the 'Saengyeon Cultural Park Loess Road.'
This project began construction in June 2024 as part of the Saengyeon Cultural Park maintenance project to create the Loess Road, and the construction was completed on the 21st of last month.
The city established a Loess Road approximately 360 meters long and 3 meters wide, two foot baths, two pergolas, 270 large trees, 3,350 shrubs, and 11,900 flowering plants.
A Dongducheon City official stated, "Located in the city center with excellent accessibility, and with its wide and long Loess Road, we expect many citizens to use the Loess Road," adding, "Besides the section created this year, the unconstructed sections are planned to be developed in 2025, and we will make thorough preparations for next year's project."
