Asian Pharmaceutical Federation Visits Kolmar Korea... "Exploring Opportunities in Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics Business"

Federation Leadership Shows Deep Interest in Derma Cosmetics

Korea Kolmar, a cosmetics manufacturer and original design manufacturer (ODM) company, announced on the 1st that the executive committee of the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA), representing pharmaceutical professionals across Asia, visited Korea Kolmar's Integrated Technology Center on the 30th of last month.

Nineteen people attended, including Kwanghoon Choi, President of the Korean Pharmaceutical Association, and FAPA executive committee members and vice presidents Dongchul Seo (Korea), Jackson Lim (Malaysia), Kampanat Huanbutta (Thailand), and Nurul Pala Eddy Pariang (Indonesia), as well as presidents of pharmaceutical associations from 13 Asian countries.


This was the first time the FAPA executive committee visited Korea for an on-site inspection of a company. The visit was arranged after the executive committee expressed their intention to visit Korea Kolmar, which is leading global beauty trends, ahead of attending the 30th FAPA General Assembly held in Seoul.


The executive committee toured major research institutes within the Integrated Technology Center and held a meeting with key management of Korea Kolmar. They showed great interest in derma cosmetics that combine pharmaceutical ingredients and technology.


The executive committee also visited the 'Color Atelier,' an offline customized space dedicated solely to the development of color cosmetics, where they actually tried mixing colors. Kampanat Huanbutta, President of the Thai Pharmaceutical Association, said, "The equipment and facilities are impressive," adding, "Kolmar goes beyond being just a cosmetics company and blends into the pharmaceutical field, and overall, the level is outstanding."


Korea Kolmar plans to further strengthen its network in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries across the Asian region through this visit. Hyungkyu Choi, CEO of Korea Kolmar, said, "Starting with this meeting, we will expand business opportunities and develop networks in the Asian region."


Meanwhile, FAPA is the largest organization in Asia encompassing pharmaceutical professionals, including pharmacists and pharmacy students. Celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, FAPA has held general assemblies in Seoul three times?in 1968, 1982, and 2002?and this year's assembly was held in Seoul for the first time in 22 years.
