On the 1st, Seoul City announced that the 7th Integrated Review Committee for Redevelopment Projects approved three project implementation plans: △Donam 6 Housing Redevelopment Project (amendment) △Sillim 2 Redevelopment Promotion Zone Housing Maintenance-type Redevelopment Project (amendment) △Supyo Urban Maintenance-type Redevelopment Project (amendment).

The Donam 6 Housing Redevelopment Project (located at 48-29 Donam-dong, Seongbuk-gu) involves constructing 900 apartment units (including 165 rental units) in 12 buildings ranging from 7 basement floors to 25 above-ground floors. Open auxiliary and welfare facilities, small parks, and public parking lots will also be created. The public pedestrian passage was modified to suit the terrain elevation differences. A floor area ratio of 268.82% was applied.

Donam 6 District is the first case among housing redevelopment projects to include a review of changes to the maintenance plan. The integrated review covered maintenance plans reflecting the surrounding conditions such as densely populated old residential areas, as well as architecture, landscape, and park sectors.

Sillim 2 District, adjacent to Sillim Station on Line 2 and Seoul National University Venture Town Station on the Sillim Line, is scheduled to begin construction in 2025. The Sillim 2 Redevelopment Promotion Zone Housing Maintenance-type Redevelopment Project will build up to 28-story apartments in 20 buildings, two religious facilities, and parks in the area of 324-25 Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu. It is located near Seoul National University and major commercial areas of Sillim-dong, offering excellent transportation and living convenience.

The project plans to secure a scenic axis centered on Hoam-ro on the east side of the site and Gwanak Urban Park, reflecting the elevation differences around Gwanaksan Mountain in the architectural plan. The restoration project of the second tributary of Dorimcheon Stream passing through the complex will also be promoted in connection with the redevelopment project. A floor area ratio of 249% was applied.

The Supyo District Urban Maintenance-type Redevelopment Project (located at 237 Ipjeong-dong, Jung-gu), adjacent to Cheonggyecheon and Euljiro 3-ga Station, also passed the integrated review. It will create office and retail facilities and exhibition halls with a total floor area of 172,159㎡, ranging from 7 basement floors to 33 above-ground floors. The project site is adjacent to the Sewoon District and Euljiro 3-ga Urban Maintenance-type Redevelopment sites, promoting high-density, mixed-use development harmonized with urban green spaces.

A large-scale open green space covering half of the project site will be created. Rest and pedestrian spaces linked to Cheonggyecheon will be planned to create an urban forest accessible to all citizens, and green street spaces connected to public sidewalks will be established to enhance pedestrian convenience. Retail facilities will be located on the lower floors of the buildings, and an underground cultural exhibition hall connected to the open green space is planned.

Han Byung-yong, Director of the Seoul City Housing Office, said, "Housing supply through the Integrated Review Committee for Redevelopment Projects is operating smoothly," adding, "This will enhance Seoul’s competitiveness by revitalizing the city center through housing supply, residential environment improvement, expansion of public facilities, and open green spaces."
