"Overcome the Recession through Win-Win Cooperation" Gyeonggi-do Win-Win Symposium Held Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency are holding the 'Win-Win Symposium' on the 31st at KINTEX in Goyang.

Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency held the ‘Win-Win Symposium’ on the 31st at KINTEX in Goyang. This symposium was held in celebration of the ‘2024 Gyeonggi Win-Win Week,’ which will take place over three days until November 2.


The Win-Win Week event was organized to strengthen the win-win cooperation system by creating a platform for cooperation among large, medium, and small enterprises.


Under the theme “Overcome the Recession through Win-Win Cooperation,” the symposium featured congratulatory speeches by Lee Dal-gon, Chairman of the Shared Growth Committee, Ko Eun-jung, Chairperson of the Economic and Labor Committee of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council, and Park Sung-myeon, Senior Vice Chairman of the Gyeonggi Small and Medium Enterprise CEO Association. Following this, Professor Lee Jeong-hee of Chung-Ang University gave a lecture on the “Growth-Type Win-Win Cooperation Model during a Recession,” and Professor Pyo Jong-wook of Samsung Electronics Win-Win Cooperation Academy delivered a lecture on “Policy Measures for Win-Win Cooperation among Large, Medium, and Small Enterprises.”


Additionally, Han Kyung-soo, Deputy General Manager of Korea Midland Power, presented a public sector best practice on “Cases of Overseas Joint Expansion with Partner Companies,” and Han Byung-yong, a leader at POSCO, shared a private sector best practice on “Win-Win Cooperation Cases of Venture Companies for the Creation of Pohang Venture Valley.”


In the second part’s talk show, Professor Lee Jeong-hee of Chung-Ang University served as the moderator, with panelists including Han Jae-seon, Head of the Shared Growth Strategy Team at the Shared Growth Committee, Park Yoon-seok, Performance Leader of Kakao’s Shared Growth Team, and Heo Cheol-woon, Deputy General Manager at Sinsung ENG, discussing win-win cooperation between local governments and large, medium, and small enterprises.


Alongside the symposium, the large, medium, and small enterprise win-win cooperation promotional hall featured participation from major companies such as Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor Company, POSCO, Kakao, Naver, Gmarket, E-Land Retail, and the Automotive Parts Industry Promotion Foundation, sharing cases of win-win cooperation with medium and small enterprises. Additionally, products and technologies from 20 outstanding medium and small enterprises within Gyeonggi Province were exhibited.


Lee Moon-gyo, Director of the Fair Economy Division of Gyeonggi Province, stated, “Gyeonggi Province is implementing various support projects by utilizing large companies’ win-win cooperation programs to create more opportunities for small and medium enterprises, including support for e-commerce linked distribution channels through collaboration and assistance in introducing the Compliance Program (CP) for fair trade.”
