Yeongdeungpo-gu, Nation's First to Disclose 'Officetel Maintenance Fee Execution Details in Real Time'

Ho-gwon Choi, Yeongdeungpo District Mayor, Visits Lunaplace Officetel in Singil 1-dong on the 31st Afternoon to Hold a Plaque Ceremony for the Pilot Project of 'Real-Time Disclosure of Officetel Management Fee Execution Details'

Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, visited Luna Place officetel located in Singil 1-dong on the afternoon of October 31 to hold a plaque ceremony for the pilot project of ‘Real-time Disclosure of Officetel Management Fee Execution Details.’

This project, the first of its kind nationwide, was established to enhance the transparency of officetel management fee operations and prevent damage to tenants. In particular, the district focuses on preventing harm to young people, such as university students and early-career workers, who mainly reside in officetels.

On October 30, the district signed a business agreement with Shinhan Bank, Paycoms, and representatives of officetels participating in the pilot project to ensure smooth project implementation, followed by the plaque ceremony on the 31st.

The project involves a total of four locations: Yangpyeong Woorim Bobo County, Mason Rich Seonyu, Els Space Yeouido, and Luna Place officetel.

Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, stated, “I hope that through this pioneering project led by the district, young people will not suffer from embezzlement or breach of trust related to management fees,” adding, “Youth issues are challenges that society must address together, not individuals alone. We will continue to do our best to establish practical systems to protect young people.”
