Dividend Increase↑·ROE Improvement... SK Networks Joining the 'Value Up' Movement

Weekly Dividend Payment of 250 Won or More
"ROE to Exceed 3.5% by 2026"

SK Networks is launching a corporate value-up program to strengthen profitability and enhance shareholder value. The company plans to boost the return on equity (ROE) of its existing businesses to over 3.5% and maintain an annual dividend of at least 250 KRW per share.

On the 31st, SK Networks announced this corporate value enhancement plan. First, SK Networks stated that it aims to raise its ROE to over 3.5% by 2026, an increase of 1.1 percentage points from 2.4% in the first half of this year.

Dividends will also be expanded. The company pledged to consistently pay an annual dividend of at least 250 KRW per share. As of the end of last year, the dividend per share was 200 KRW. Through this, SK Networks plans to raise its price-to-book ratio (PBR), which is currently lower than the KOSPI average, and strengthen shareholder value enhancement measures as profits increase.

Specifically, to improve ROE, the company proposed strengthening the profitability of its existing businesses and innovating its business models. It self-assessed that it has secured capabilities in technology and data-related businesses, laying the foundation for new growth engines centered on artificial intelligence (AI). Furthermore, as a business holding company, SK Networks plans to further enhance the operational efficiency of its existing businesses and advance the management and support systems for its subsidiaries. Additionally, it intends to integrate AI into existing businesses to improve both profitability and future corporate value.

Regarding shareholder returns, the company decided to raise the regular dividend to 200 KRW. Following this year's level, which included the first-ever interim dividend, SK Networks plans to consistently provide predictable dividends to shareholders.

An SK Networks official stated, "We will enhance financial stability to respond to changes in the uncertain domestic and international business environment, while advancing the business holding company system that leads AI innovation at headquarters and subsidiaries and supports them efficiently. Additionally, we will continue to deepen and broaden communication with stakeholders regarding the company's management status and plans."
