Opening of 'Garden9' in the Duty-Free Area of Terminal 1 Passenger
An indoor garden where passengers can relax right before boarding has been established at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1.
Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 31st that it will open a complex themed space called 'Garden9' near Gate 9 in the duty-free area of Terminal 1.
This space, meaning 'Garden in front of Gate 9,' was designed to represent a modern Korean garden.
Structures resembling traditional lattice windows seen in hanok were placed by the windows, and various trees and wooden tables were arranged along the customer flow. Previously, in 2021, Incheon Airport also created complex themed spaces called 'Little Forest' and 'Stadium' in the duty-free area of Terminal 1.
Lee Hak-jae, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, stated, "Incheon Airport will continue to enhance its world-class expertise in customer experience through various customized spaces and services."
