Seosan Office of Education Receives Positive Response for Supporting School Song Audio Production

The Seosan Office of Education Support Center in Chungnam conducted the 2024 second half 'School Anthem Audio Production Support Project' for schools in the Seosan area over two days, from the 28th to the 29th.

The 'School Anthem Audio Production Support Project' aims to rearrange old school anthems to fit modern trends and have students record them with their own voices, so that the audio can be actively used for school events or promotional purposes.

In the first half of the year, the project supported the production of anthem audio tracks for three schools, including Seosan Seoklim Elementary School. In the second half, the team visited eight schools, including Seosan Jungang High School, to assist with accompaniment arrangement and recording.

A representative from one of the participating schools said, "Until now, we only had an old instrumental version of the school anthem, which caused many difficulties during events. Now, with a high-quality recording featuring students’ voices, we can use the anthem more effectively for student education and school promotion."

Education Superintendent Sung Kidong stated, "The school anthem is a symbol of the school and serves to connect the memories of current students and alumni. I hope the anthem, which links the school's past and present, will be used in various educational activities."

Meanwhile, the Seosan School Support Center is also producing promotional videos for schools using drones, creating videos with the school anthem audio, and developing educational materials such as 'singing along with a verse of the school anthem.' Plans are in place to further develop resources utilizing school anthems.
