Starting at 7 p.m. on the 30th, the pre-show performances such as Bubble Magic Show and Vista set the stage, followed by the main fireworks event that illuminated the October night sky of Masan Bay filled with the scent of chrysanthemums. Not only the adults watching the performance but also the children who came along were fully immersed in the bubble performances and magic shows set against the backdrop of the night sea.

The performance by the group Vista on the main stage at 3·15 Marine Nuri Park greatly elevated the atmosphere of the fireworks show. At the height of the exciting melodies and rising mood, large fireworks were set off to celebrate and wish for the success of the Chrysanthemum Festival. The large fireworks, perfectly harmonized with the music, decorated the front sea of Masan Bay, and the lingering reflections on the water amazed the audience. This fireworks display, set against Masan Bay and chrysanthemums, offered unforgettable memories to those who visited the site with its splendid fireworks.

Changwon City deployed a total of 300 personnel, including public officials, police, and firefighters, to prevent congestion and ensure safety, anticipating a large crowd that day. From the start of the event until attendees returned home after its conclusion, passageways were secured and thorough safety measures were implemented to prevent bottlenecks, ensuring citizens could move safely. These efforts were made to ensure the event proceeded smoothly without any safety incidents.

Park Dong-jin, Director of the Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau, said, “This festival was planned as a rich event offering various programs and attractions that domestic and international tourists and local residents can enjoy together,” adding, “We will prioritize safety during the remaining period to carry out the festival without any accidents.”

Meanwhile, on Friday, November 1, the Indie Music Festa featuring indie bands is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m., and on Saturday, November 2, from 3 p.m., the Chrysanthemum Dance and Cheerleading Festival with local professional sports cheering squads and the Chrysanthemum Dream Parade will be held, providing plenty of attractions throughout the remaining festival period.
