Naver Participates in Construction Exhibition? Showcases 'Digital Twin' Achievements in Saudi Arabia

Team Naver Offers Platform Introduction and Technology Experience Opportunities

Naver announced on the 31st that it will participate in the largest construction exhibition, 'Cityscape Global 2024,' to directly showcase the achievements of its digital twin platform.

Cityscape Global 2024 is the world's largest exhibition in the fields of construction, architecture, proptech, and real estate, held under the theme of 'Life of the Future.' This year's event is expected to be the largest ever, featuring over 400 exhibitors, more than 500 speakers, and 7 conferences.

Team Naver will exhibit booths under the slogan 'Future Cities Created with Digital Twin Technology' alongside the Saudi National Housing Company (NHC), Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation (LX), and Korea Water Resources Corporation. At the booth, they will introduce the achievements of the digital twin platform project being conducted with NHC and provide visitors with opportunities to experience innovative technologies.

The exhibition booth is composed of three spaces: a diorama media table where digital twin scenarios such as flood simulation, urban planning, and traffic system establishment can be viewed; a VR (virtual reality) experience zone where visitors can experience the NHC housing project implemented with Naver's digital twin solution 'ALIKE' in virtual reality; and a media display area for introducing Naver's technology and presentations.

The 'Digital Twin Platform Construction Project for Major Cities in Saudi Arabia,' which achieved its first technology export to Saudi Arabia in October last year, has been progressing sequentially since the declaration ceremony held in Saudi Arabia in July this year to officially start the construction project. In cooperation with LX and Korea Water Resources Corporation, services such as flood simulation and urban planning simulation are being developed. The digital twin data construction for Jeddah, one of the major cities, has been completed. Team Naver plans to continue developing core services with various partners aiming to open the first phase of the service early next year.
