'Signature Kitchen Suite Combi Wall Oven' Also Awarded Best Invention
6 Consecutive Years as Best Invention Winner
LG Electronics announced on the 31st that its world’s first wireless and transparent OLED TV, the 'LG SIGNATURE OLED T,' and the ultra-premium built-in appliance, the 'Signature Kitchen Suite Combi Wall Oven,' have been selected as 'Inventions of the Year' by the U.S. weekly news magazine TIME.
TIME selects and announces innovative products and services every year. This year, a total of 200 products were chosen as the best inventions across 28 categories, including consumer electronics, home products, accessibility, artificial intelligence, beauty, and robotics.

The LG SIGNATURE OLED T was selected as the best invention in the consumer electronics category. The media stated, "Today’s consumers are looking for new ways to decorate spaces without a huge black screen," and introduced that "using the AOD (Always-On-Display) feature, users can enjoy constantly changing artworks or make the screen appear like a transparent glass window."
Additionally, unlike other TVs, this product has no cables connected except for the power cord, eliminating concerns about tangled wires. It explained that all peripheral devices and cables hanging behind the TV have been moved to a separate 'Zero Connect Box.'
Alongside this, the Combi Wall Oven from the ultra-premium built-in appliance Signature Kitchen Suite oven lineup was selected as the best invention in the home products category.
This product applies 'Gourmet AI' technology, where an internal oven camera recognizes ingredients and recommends various customized recipes through the front display. The media praised it as "a superior cooking appliance," highlighting the differentiated technology applied to the product and its luxurious and sophisticated design.

With this, LG Electronics has been named in TIME’s best inventions for six consecutive years. Starting from 2019 to 2021, LG OLED TVs were the first TV products to be selected as the best inventions for three consecutive years. In 2022, the plant lifestyle appliance LG Tiun and LG CLOi robots were selected, and last year, the world’s first wireless OLED TV, the 'LG SIGNATURE OLED M,' was chosen.
Meanwhile, besides the top 200 inventions, TIME introduced notable products and services in a 'Special Mention' section, featuring the ultra-compact premium 4K projector 'LG CineBeam Cube,' describing it as "a sleek device weighing just about 3 pounds (approximately 1.4 kg) that can project images up to 120 inches in 4K resolution."
