kt cloud, Hiring 00 Experienced Professionals
Flexible Work Hours with Alternate Fridays Off
Various Benefits Including Communication Allowance and Welfare Points
KT's subsidiary, KT Cloud (kt cloud), has embarked on a large-scale recruitment of experienced professionals.
On the 30th, KT Cloud announced that it will hire 00 experienced professionals across all fields including △Tech △Data Center △Sales & Consulting. The recruitment process will proceed in the order of △Document screening △Personality test △Practical interview △Executive interview, and the final successful candidates are expected to join early next year. Detailed recruitment schedules will be posted on the official website on the 1st of next month. To inform a wider range of prospective applicants, outdoor advertisements will also be conducted at major subway stations in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and other areas.
This recruitment is known to lower the barrier for document screening by collecting resumes in a free format and emphasizes practical problem-solving skills during the practical interview. Selected candidates are expected to receive an annual salary exceeding 60 million KRW. The starting salary for new employees at KT Cloud is similar to that of KT; in 2022, KT agreed with the labor union on a starting salary of 60 million KRW for new employees. Especially since this recruitment targets experienced professionals, the salary is expected to be higher than that.
Additionally, various welfare benefits such as communication expenses, welfare points, self-development costs, childbirth congratulatory money, and in-house loans will be provided to the recruits. Currently, KT Cloud implements a total autonomous working hours system that allows flexible working hours, making a four-day workweek with every other Friday off possible. Furthermore, various in-house programs are operated to enhance employees' capabilities, and there are long-term service leaves at intervals of 3, 5, 10, and 20 years.
This recruitment is reportedly being conducted as the time approaches for KT employees who transferred following the establishment of KT Cloud in April 2022 to return to their original affiliation. At that time, KT provided a return option for employees reluctant to move to KT Cloud, with over 200 eligible employees. Additionally, the goal is to strengthen the multi-cloud strategy through securing manpower, solidify dominance in the data center market, and expand market growth and business areas.
Choi Ji-woong, CEO of KT Cloud, stated, "We are conducting recruitment of outstanding talents to strengthen KT Cloud’s technological competitiveness and prepare for an important turning point to seize market leadership," adding, "We hope for the interest and applications of many who want to continue greater growth and challenges together with KT Cloud, which is preparing to transform into a technology-centered company."
