“No Sexual Violence” Hanam City, High-Ranking Officials Receive 4 Major Violence Prevention Trainings Hanam City conducted a prevention education session on the four major types of violence (sexual harassment, sexual violence, domestic violence, and prostitution) for senior public officials at grade 5 and above on the 29th at the city hall annex auditorium.

Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) announced on the 30th that on the 29th, it conducted a prevention education session on the four major types of violence (sexual harassment, sexual violence, domestic violence, and prostitution) for high-ranking officials of grade 5 and above at the city hall annex auditorium.

This education was conducted following the mandatory separate training on the prevention of the four major types of violence for high-ranking officials since 2021.

Attorney Kim Jae-hee, head of Kim Jae-hee Law Office, who gave the lecture, delivered a presentation titled "How to Respond to Wise Leadership Life with WITH U (法)," emphasizing the responsibilities and roles that high-ranking officials should have, including ▲analysis of laws and cases related to sexual harassment and sexual violence ▲prevention of secondary damage ▲awareness changes to prevent new types of crimes.

In particular, Attorney Kim Jae-hee, as a gender law expert, explained gender issues in an easy-to-understand manner and structured the lecture so that high-ranking officials could accurately recognize the four major types of violence, prevent them, and practice appropriate measures, receiving favorable reviews.

One participant who attended the education said, "It was beneficial to learn preventive measures to ensure that similar cases do not occur in the workplace through the four major violence prevention education," and added, "Based on what I learned today, I will strive to foster a culture of mutual respect among employees and create a healthy workplace culture free from sexual harassment and sexual violence."

Meanwhile, Hanam City previously conducted prevention education on the four major types of violence for about 580 employees, including city hall officials and public workers, on the 2nd and 11th of this month. In November, the city plans to conduct education aimed at improving gender sensitivity for all city officials.
