Dongducheon City Health Center Operates 'Saessak Health Class' for Preschool Children Dongducheon City Public Health Center has been operating the Sprout Health Class for preschool children in the area since the 29th.

The Public Health Center of Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 30th that it operated the Sprout Health Class for preschool children in the area on the 29th.


The Sprout Health Class is an integrated program that encourages the formation of proper health habits through education on nutrition, physical activity, smoking prevention, and oral health for children attending daycare centers or kindergartens.


In this program, professional instructors taught children proper tooth brushing habits, prevention of picky eating, healthy eating habits, and physical activities. Additionally, educational materials were distributed so that parents could also learn together at home.


A Public Health Center official stated, "We will strive to provide various health education opportunities for preschool children so that they can develop healthy lifestyle habits from early childhood."
