In particular, the ‘Jegabeotchi Project,’ which sells agricultural and marine products expected to be overproduced at fair prices, is expected to reduce producers’ inventory burdens and greatly help stabilize prices.
Kakao Makers plans to support marketing for producers who have good ideas but have had difficulty obtaining sales opportunities in order to expand the distribution network for Gohheung agricultural and marine products.
Governor Gong Young-min emphasized, “Through this agreement, not only have we established a foundation for mutual growth that satisfies both producers and consumers by pioneering online sales channels, but we will also continue to work closely with Kakao Makers to ensure stable sales of local agricultural and marine products.”
Kim Jeong-min, Product Leader at Kakao Makers, said, “Gohheung, where excellent agricultural and marine products such as yuzu, gim (seaweed), and onions are produced nationwide, is a competitive region. We will continue to strive to grow together based on the agreement with Gohheung-gun.”
