BTS RM Documentary Film to Premiere Worldwide on December 5

BTS RM Documentary Film to Premiere Worldwide on December 5

The documentary film about BTS member RM (real name Kim Namjoon), titled 'RM: Light People, Long Places,' will be released on December 5 in over 90 countries and regions worldwide, HYBE and CJ 4DPLEX announced on the 30th. In South Korea, it will be exclusively released at CGV theaters on the same day.

'RM: Light People, Long Places' follows an honest record of RM's eight-month journey working on his second solo album, his struggles, and the things he is passionate about and loves. As the leader of BTS and a solo artist, RM has repeatedly pondered the question, "Who am I really?" Between RM the solo artist and Kim Namjoon the person, he poured the unfamiliar emotions and stories he experienced in his quest to find his true self into his second solo album. The film closely documents the album production process, offering a glimpse into his inner world.

The film was invited to the Open Cinema section of the 29th Busan International Film Festival, marking the first time a K-pop documentary has been featured in this category. It was directed by Lee Seokjun, who previously worked on music videos such as 'Fire' and 'More' for BTS member J-Hope.
