Sacheon-si, Promotes Administrative Innovation and Performance Creation by Improving Expanded Executive Meetings

Sacheon City in Gyeongnam aims to achieve both 'administrative innovation' and 'performance creation' by improving its expanded executive meetings.

According to the city on the 30th, following the establishment of the policy executive meetings, the method of expanded executive meetings, where all department heads gather monthly, will be improved to accelerate the promotion of city administration in the second half of the year.

All department heads of Sacheon City gathered together to improve the format of the expanded executive meeting and decided to accelerate the promotion of city administration in the second half of the year.

Accordingly, it is expected to break away from the existing method of reporting routine and ceremonial matters such as project schedules and event plans for long hours, thereby enhancing administrative efficiency and strengthening the substance of executive meetings.

This improvement of the expanded executive meetings was applied starting from the November expanded executive meeting, proceeding in a way that shares key projects and major tasks by department and discusses overall major issues.

The meeting focused on discussions about the early enactment signature campaign for the Special Act on the Construction and Development of the Aerospace Complex City, preparation for the government joint evaluation, and achieving the highest integrity rating for two consecutive years.

Mayor Park Dongsik said, “To realize Sacheon as a new beginning and happy city, executive officials must take the lead, demonstrate their capabilities, and create results with a sense of urgency,” adding, “Please do your best to ensure that city administration proceeds without any setbacks through thorough analysis of administrative issues.”
