The Smart Manufacturing Innovation Promotion Team, affiliated with the Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA), held the '2024 Smart Factory Customized Import-Export Academy' on the 30th at the Hana Bank Euljiro Headquarters in Seoul, co-hosted with Hana Bank.
This event was conducted for companies participating in the smart factory support project, with a total of 49 employees from various companies attending.

The event focused on helping companies aiming for overseas expansion understand and resolve various foreign exchange issues encountered in import-export transactions as part of spreading the achievements of the smart factory support project. The academy consisted of lectures on understanding import-export, foreign exchange transactions related to import-export, a dealing room tour, and understanding and outlook of the foreign exchange market.
An Kwang-hyun, head of the Smart Manufacturing Innovation Promotion Team, stated, "This academy will serve as an opportunity for smart factory supported companies to take a step closer to the global market," adding, "We will continue to provide various support programs related to import-export to continuously strengthen the competitiveness of companies."
