Hudson AI, a startup providing AI-based media dubbing services, announced on the 30th the launch of the beta version of 'timbr' for creators.

Hudson AI Launches 'Timber' for Automatic Translation and Dubbing for Creators Expanding Overseas

Timbr offers dubbing voices in various languages using creators' voices based on voice and video generation AI technology. It provides a service that matches the lip movements in the video as if the creator is speaking in a foreign language. This helps creators quickly enter overseas markets without language barriers.

Timbr's AI dubbing technology is implemented based on Hudson AI's proprietary voice synthesis model, Acting TTS. Acting TTS uses AI technology to mimic not only the creator's voice but also their tone and non-verbal expressions. It features automatic translation and dubbing into the desired language with a single click, as well as the ability for creators to modify and edit the voice as they wish. Additionally, Hudson AI's unique AI lip-sync technology enables natural lip movement transformation.

Moreover, through metadata localization services, it reflects the cultural characteristics and trends of the target country by localizing video titles, descriptions, and tags, helping to capture the attention of overseas viewers. Within this year, the service plans to expand to include commerce and data analysis features that assist in the overseas growth and monetization of YouTube channels. During the beta service period, Korean, English, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German are supported, and approximately 20 languages will be supported upon official release.

Hudson AI has collaborated with more than 60 domestic YouTube creator channels. The creator 'Chimchakman,' with 2.6 million subscribers, has also released AI dubbing samples in collaboration with Hudson AI. The animation YouTube channel Gyehyangss (GH’S), which has over 23 million global subscribers, has conducted English, Spanish, and Japanese dubbing using Hudson AI's AI dubbing technology. 'Peu-eung,' the largest beekeeping YouTuber in Korea, has recorded about 1 million views in North America with English dubbed videos produced in collaboration with Hudson AI, stepping up as a global creator.

Shin Hyunjin, CEO of Hudson AI, stated, "While Korean content is gaining global recognition for its competitiveness, Timbr offers creators new opportunities for market expansion and fan community growth through AI localization features. We will do our best to ensure Timbr becomes the most efficient and powerful tool for creators' global advancement and growth."

Meanwhile, participation in Timbr's beta service can be applied for through Hudson AI's website, and a free usage event is being held for participating creators.
