High School Selection Guide!... Geumcheon-gu Hosts 'YouTube High School Admission Briefing'

Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yoo Seong-hoon) announced that on October 31 at 7 PM, a high school admission briefing session for the 2025 academic year will be held on the ‘Geumcheon Career and Academic Support Center’ YouTube channel.

This high school admission briefing session is designed to assist middle school students preparing to enter high school and their parents in choosing and applying to high schools.

Teachers from three local general high schools?Doksan High School, Munil High School, and Geumcheon High School?as well as the specialized Seoul Magnet High School will conduct the lectures. Students and parents can ask questions in real time through the chat window and receive immediate answers.

The lectures will cover topics such as an overview of each school, introduction to major programs, college admission results, and elective courses offered by each school.

Anyone can participate in the high school admission briefing session by entering the ‘Geumcheon Career and Academic Support Center’ YouTube channel at the scheduled lecture time.

Yoo Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, “Through this briefing session, I hope students and parents will gain diverse information about high schools in Geumcheon-gu, easing their concerns about choosing a high school and providing a good opportunity to set their career paths.”

The Geumcheon Career and Academic Support Center YouTube channel offers not only this admission briefing session but also useful video content related to career and academic guidance, such as special lectures on essay writing and interviews in preparation for the 2025 academic year.
