Uijeongbu City Promotes Hometown Love Donation Program at the 36th Dongducheon Soyodanpung Festival

Hometown Love Donation Program with Four Cities and Counties in Northern Gyeonggi

Uijeongbu City participated in the "36th Dongducheon Soyodanfestival" on the 26th to promote the Hometown Love Donation Program.

Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 29th that it participated in the '36th Dongducheon Soyodanpung Festival' held on the 26th to promote the Hometown Love Donation Program.

This promotion was organized to foster mutual development among neighboring cities and counties, in accordance with the 'Business Agreement for the Activation of the Hometown Love Donation Program' signed earlier this year with Dongducheon City and others.

The promotional booth at the event was jointly operated by the four participating cities and counties (Uijeongbu City, Pocheon City, Dongducheon City, and Yeoncheon County). Specifically, activities included ▲exhibiting and promoting return gifts ▲awarding products to registrants from interested local governments on the Hometown Love e-um platform, informing visitors about the meaning and benefits of the Hometown Love Donation Program, and encouraging participation in donations.

Going forward, considering the benefits of the Hometown Love Donation Program (for a 100,000 KRW donation, full tax deduction and return gifts worth approximately 30,000 KRW, totaling 130,000 KRW), the city plans to hold an event at the end of the year featuring additional return gifts and a donation certification comment campaign to further spread the culture of donation.
