Korea Investment & Securities Launches 'Dream and Hope Single-Parent Family Support Project'

Korea Investment & Securities announced on the 29th that it will promote the "Dream and Hope Single-Parent Family Support Project" in collaboration with the social welfare corporation "ChildFund Korea" to guarantee the right to survival and create a stable nurturing environment for single-parent families facing economic difficulties.

This project selects 10 single-parent families with infants and young children who are in urgent need of financial assistance and provides emergency living expenses such as food costs, medical expenses, and utility bills. The funds come from a 'matching grant' donated jointly by Korea Investment & Securities employees and the company. The matching grant system allows employees to freely donate any amount monthly, and the company contributes an equal amount to the social contribution fund.

President Kim Seong-hwan said, "Gathering the hearts and intentions of our employees, we have supported single-parent families in difficult circumstances in the second half of the year following the first half. We plan to continue supporting so that our children can grow up healthy and bright in a better environment and warm care."
