The training simulated a fire scenario caused by a collision involving an electric forklift inside the logistics center, focusing on step-by-step response measures such as evacuation, firefighting, and rescue to prepare for fire incidents. In particular, the training addressed complex disaster situations such as the leakage of hazardous chemicals linked to the fire incident, and assessed crisis management capabilities across various fields through initial response, collaboration among related organizations, and the use of disaster safety communication networks.

Lee Sang-hoon, President of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, stated, “The Safe Korea Training provided an opportunity to review firefighting methods for electric forklift fires and measures to prevent hazardous chemical incidents,” adding, “Through repetitive, realistic training, we will strengthen disaster management capabilities and also strive to prevent disasters for companies located in the industrial complexes.”
