Appeal for Normalization of District Council Operations... "Residents' Worries Turning into Anger"
Choi Chungkyu, the head of Daedeok District in Daejeon, has issued an appeal urging the normalization of operations in the Daedeok District Council following disruptions in the council's organization.
On the 28th, through his appeal, Choi pointed out, "As the formation of the council leadership is delayed, major projects are being stalled, and the credibility of both the council and the district administration is declining," adding, "With the continued failure to form the council leadership for the latter half of the term, the concerns of residents are turning into anger, making this a grave situation."
He continued, "For the restoration of public trust and the development of the district, I urge you to work with the mindset of Iminwibon, focusing solely on the residents of Daedeok, so that the council leadership for the latter half of the term and the council sessions can be organized as soon as possible."
Choi stated, "I have always respected the Daedeok District Council, and for a new leap forward and to make Daedeok a place where everyday life is enjoyable, I will do my best with the spirit of Mulmangchosim," adding, "Let us join our wisdom and strength together for the development of Daedeok."
