Campaign to Create a Safe Workplace Also Launched
The Icheon City Labor-Management-Civil-Government Council announced on the 28th that on the 25th, about 30 members from the Safe Icheon City Promotion Team, Gyeonggi Eastern Logistics Council, and the Industrial Safety Subcommittee participated in a 'Campaign for Creating Safe Workplaces and a Citizen Petition for the Attraction of a Science High School' held at Icheon Jungang-ro Culture Street and the Icheon Ginseng Festival venue.

Through this activity, the council introduced various occupational accident prevention support activities aimed at improving safety culture awareness and preventing industrial accidents among citizens, and promoted the necessity of attracting a science high school.
The council is conducting the 'Regional Labor-Management-Civil-Government Revitalization Win-Win Cooperation Support Project' with support from the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and supports the activities of the Gyeonggi Eastern Logistics Safety Council to create safe workplaces.
In particular, this year, the council is carrying out protection for vulnerable groups to improve the four basic labor orders, industrial safety, carbon neutrality, work-life balance, and dual structure through the participation of employers, workers, citizens, and local governments.
A council official stated, "We will do our best to continuously spread awareness improvements and support measures in the region through organic industrial accident prevention activities."
