Daishin Securities announced on the 28th that it will conduct smartphone trading education for senior customers at its branch offices located nationwide.
Reflecting the high satisfaction of the MTS education first conducted in June, the program will be sequentially carried out at branch offices located in major hubs across the country.
The smartphone trading education was planned as part of ESG management to support bridging the digital financial gap for senior customers. It aims to assist senior customers in adapting to the digital financial environment and conducting safe securities trading.
The education sessions will be held in the following order: △ Mokdong WM Center (October 29), △ Songdo WM Center (November 7), △ Suji WM Center (November 14), △ Bundang Center (November 21), △ Gwangju Financial Center (November 28), △ Daejeon Center (December 5), △ Jeonju Branch (December 12), and Ulsan WM Center (December 20).
Employees from Daishin Securities Financial Support Center will serve as instructors, providing detailed explanations on basic smartphone functions, MTS installation, and usage methods.
In particular, there will be specific explanations and practical exercises on how customers can protect their smartphones from malicious messages and phishing attacks by installing spam-blocking applications.
Park Seong-hyun, head of Daishin Securities Financial Support Center, said, "After the first senior customer education, we confirmed the effect of improved digital independence, such as a significant decrease in inquiries about mobile service usage from the education participants," adding, "We will provide opportunities to bridge the digital gap for more customers."
