Powernet announced on the 28th that it showcased various lithium iron phosphate (LFP) products at the '2024 Yeonggwang e-Mobility Expo,' held over four days starting from the 17th in Yeonggwang, Jeollanam-do.
The expo was hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Jeollanam-do, Yeonggwang County, and the Korea Automotive Technology Institute, with participation from over 160 companies. It featured e-mobility technology trends and product lines integrated with the 4th industrial revolution fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and autonomous driving.
A Powernet representative stated, "This exhibition was an important opportunity to introduce the energy sector that our company is focusing on developing and to promote the excellence and safety of our products to domestic and international buyers." He added, "Throughout the expo, we received significant attention from buyers and visitors both at home and abroad."
He continued, "Starting with battery packs for K-Beauty devices, which are currently being actively supplied, we plan to expand our LFP battery pack business to include energy storage systems (ESS) and electric two-wheelers." He further added, "In the future, we will broaden our application to various fields connected to our existing technologies, including the business-to-consumer (B2C) sector, making the energy field a key pillar of our future growth."
