Engineer Kim was also named an outstanding engineer for his excellent response capabilities in unusual situations, including 100,000 km of accident-free driving.
Engineer Im said, “Studying through simulations based on technical and initial response manuals during regular operations was a great help,” and added with a bright smile, “I will continue to do my best to operate the urban railway as a safe and comfortable means of transportation for citizens.”
Engineer Kim stated, “When I was a new engineer learning the job, I consistently practiced the driving know-how I learned from senior engineers, and I built confidence through image training to prepare for faults and other unusual situations during operations,” and pledged, “I will always prioritize passenger safety and do my best in train operations.”
