In celebration of the clear autumn in October, various local village festivals were held throughout Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su).

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, visited the festival sites to communicate and unite with the residents.

On the morning of the 26th, Mayor Park Gang-su visited the ‘Seongsan 1-dong Maple Forest Path Festival’ held at Seongmisan Samdan Park, full of autumn foliage, and the ‘12th Sinsu Cheolli Village Market’ held in front of the Sinsu-dong Community Center, spending time conversing and communicating with the residents.

In the afternoon, he consecutively visited the ‘Alkong Dalkong Neighborhood Festival’ held at Soeui Elementary School playground in Gongdeok-dong, the ‘1st Ahyeon Apricot Blossom Harmony Festival’ at Ahyeon Elementary School playground, and the ‘6th Mangwon-dong Bangulnae-gil Memories Drop by Drop Festival’ held around Bangulnae-ro in Mangwon-dong, encouraging the residents who worked hard to host unique festivals in each neighborhood.

On this day, Mayor Park Gang-su of Mapo-gu said, “I would like to express my gratitude to the residents who organized a variety of events so that people of all ages can enjoy the village festivals during the deepening autumn days,” adding, “I hope everyone creates special memories and fully enjoys the diverse festivals.”
