National Changwon University Science Gifted Education Center, Recruiting New Students for 2025 Academic Year

November 6-8 Application Submission

The National Changwon University Science Gifted Education Center is recruiting new students for the gifted education program for the 2025 academic year.


The center announced on the 25th that it had initially selected 22 students through the pre-education-post-selection process in September, and will introduce the gifted education candidate selection process at the online admission briefing session held today, the 30th.


After the first document screening, twice the number of the recruitment quota will be selected, and the final new students will be chosen through in-depth interviews on December 14-15.

Once selected as a gifted education candidate, students can receive gifted education in four fields of the Advanced 1 course, five fields of the Advanced 2 course (major subjects), and six fields of the Secondary course for the 2025 academic year.


Applications will be accepted from November 6 to 8, and detailed information about the new student recruitment can be found on the official website of the Changwon University Science Gifted Education Center or by contacting the center.


The National Changwon University Science Gifted Education Center conducts gifted education funded by the government’s science and technology fund and lottery fund, supported by the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, Changwon City, and Gimhae City, in accordance with the Gifted Education Promotion Act.


▲ Through various admission processes such as the pre-education-post-selection process, giftedness observation process, and special admission for gifted course completers and general students, the center recruits new students to discover and nurture outstanding local science gifted students in line with the educational goal of ‘early discovery and systematic support for nurturing science gifted students to cultivate core science and technology personnel in science and engineering fields and strengthen national competitiveness.’
