Hyo-ryeong Senior Welfare Town (hereinafter Hyo-ryeong Town), affiliated with Gwangju Social Service Center, held a 'Sports Competition,' a senior autumn sports event.

The event, which started at 9 a.m., featured seven sports including billiards, table tennis, tennis, gateball, park golf, Yutnori, and Janggi & Baduk. Through the competitions, it promoted the health of the elderly and created a 'harmonious space' within the local community.

In particular, children from the public Haenamu Daycare Center and their families participated together, fostering warm intergenerational exchanges.

Jung Kyung-nam, head of Hyo-ryeong Town, said, "I am pleased that this event supported the health of the elderly and facilitated communication and harmony between generations," adding, "We will continue to do our best to improve the quality of life for seniors through various programs."
