Monalisa Co., Ltd., a lifestyle hygiene specialist company, announced that it received integrated grade A, the highest rating in the paper industry, with environmental A, social A+, and governance A grades in the 2024 ESG management evaluation by the Korea Corporate Governance Service (KCGS).

Monalisa Co., Ltd. has significantly strengthened its system for sustainable management by establishing an ESG committee under the board of directors and forming a permanent ESG dedicated organization. Through the enhanced organizational structure, it defined goals such as 'Zero Major Accidents,' 'Net Zero,' and 'Zero Claims,' and has shown a differentiated approach within the industry by enacting and revising related policies and regulations.

In particular, in the governance area, the company received an A grade, two levels higher than last year, which is the result of recognized efforts to strengthen the internal control system and enhance transparency. Monalisa actively pursued governance improvements by establishing an audit support team and an ethical management team, appointing accounting and finance experts as outside directors, and received high evaluations in various items related to protecting shareholder rights.
