Yulhee "Choi Min-hwan Engaged in Prostitution by Visiting Establishments" Exposed

"Strict Punishment Urged if Charges Are Proven"
Yulhee, a former member of the group Laboum, has made allegations against her ex-husband Choi Minhwan of FT Island, and a complaint has been filed requesting an investigation into Choi Minhwan for prostitution charges.
On the 25th, a netizen stated on an online community, "I have requested the police through the National Petition System to investigate Choi Minhwan and intermediary A for violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Prostitution." The complainant explained, "According to Article 19 (Penalties), Paragraph 1 of the currently enforced 'Act on the Punishment of Acts of Arranging Sexual Traffic' (Prostitution Punishment Act), anyone who falls under any of the following items shall be punished by imprisonment for up to three years or a fine of up to 30 million won." It is reported that the Seoul Gangnam Police Station has received the complaint urging a thorough investigation into Choi Minhwan and intermediary A’s violation of the Prostitution Punishment Act and strongly demands strict punishment if criminal charges are confirmed.
Earlier, on the 23rd, former entertainment reporter and YouTuber Lee Jin-ho claimed, "Yulhee has been working as an influencer and has had many external activities, which led to conflicts with Choi Minhwan, who prioritizes childcare and family." He added, "One day before an FT Island concert, she even ran away from home for about 4 to 5 days." In response, Yulhee refuted these claims on the 24th through her YouTube channel 'Yulhee’s House,' stating, "About a year before the divorce, there was a major incident, and from that point, our married life changed 180 degrees." She continued, "(Choi Minhwan) touched my body in front of family members and even put money here (on my chest)." She explained, "How would someone that age know about places like that? Later, I realized that such drunken behavior was a habit."
At the end of the video, Yulhee also revealed a recorded phone conversation between Choi Minhwan and a man named A from July to August 2022. In the recording, Choi Minhwan says to A, "I came out secretly, so please make a reservation," "They say there are no girls here today," "I need to pay 2.3 million won last time, so please send me the account number," and "Can you book a hotel I can go to now? A motel is fine too," suggesting that he engaged in prostitution during their marriage.
Meanwhile, Yulhee and Choi Minhwan married in 2018 and divorced last December after about five years. The couple has one son and twin daughters.
