Jinhung Corporation Wins 50.3 Billion KRW Contract for Electric Power Supply Facility Conduit Construction in Gyeonggi Region

Jinhung Corporation has won the contract for the 'Electric Power Supply Facility Power Duct Construction in the Gyeonggi Area' commissioned by Korea Electric Power Corporation.


The bid amount for Jinhung Corporation is 50.3 billion KRW, which is 25% of the total project scale of 201.4 billion KRW. Jinhung Corporation formed a consortium with HL D&I Hanla to participate in the bidding for this project.


The project involves constructing a 9,102-meter power duct in Yangseo-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province to expand large-scale power supply capacity in the metropolitan area. The main construction works include 9,060 meters of mechanical tunnel method (Shield TBM), 42 meters of NATM, and 5 vertical shafts (1 temporary shaft), with a total construction period of 3 years.


With this, Jinhung Corporation has signed 4 contracts in the public construction sector this year, achieving approximately 200 billion KRW in orders. Additionally, it continues to stand out in the public construction sector by winning contracts such as the Hongcheon Pumped Storage Relocation Road Construction (26.8 billion KRW) and Bukpyeongtaek Power Duct Construction (12 billion KRW), which are not subject to mandatory disclosure.


A representative of Jinhung Corporation stated that, regarding this contract win, "To increase order volume, we plan to strategically participate in bids by forming consortia with large construction companies." They added, "Since multiple public bids, including LH public housing, are scheduled within the year, we plan to actively participate in those bids to increase our order volume."
