Fingerprint Authentication Available for Front Passenger Seat, 2025 Sonata Top Trim Price Reduced by 200,000 Won

Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 25th that it has launched the model year update of the mid-size sedan 'Sonata The Edge' and has begun full-scale sales. Hyundai enhanced the 2025 Sonata's product appeal while also securing price competitiveness by lowering the price of the top gasoline trim by 200,000 KRW.

Hyundai moved the in-cabin fingerprint authentication feature, which was previously located on the left side of the cluster, to the top of the center console so that it can also be used by the front passenger in the new Sonata.

They improved product appeal by applying the after-blow function to the manual air conditioner and changing the logic so that the heating and ventilation functions operate from higher to lower levels.

Hyundai made efforts to set reasonable prices, including lowering the selling price of the top Inspiration trim of the Sonata gasoline model by 200,000 KRW.

The selling prices of the Sonata Smartstream gasoline 2.0 models are ▲Premium 28,310,000 KRW ▲Exclusive 32,010,000 KRW ▲Inspiration 35,360,000 KRW. The 1.6 turbo models are ▲Premium 28,980,000 KRW ▲Exclusive 32,680,000 KRW ▲Inspiration 36,030,000 KRW.

For the Sonata Hybrid, based on tax benefit reflection, the prices are ▲Premium 32,400,000 KRW ▲Exclusive 35,950,000 KRW ▲Inspiration 39,310,000 KRW.
