BizData and BigBang Ventures to Participate in Canada RemTech 2024 "Accelerating Global Expansion of AI Environmental Solutions"

BizData, a specialized company in environmental artificial intelligence (AI) big data, and venture capital (VC) BigBang Ventures are set to actively enter the North American environmental technology market.

On the 25th, BizData announced, “From the 16th to the 18th, we participated in the Soil and Groundwater Environment Conference ‘Remediation Technologies Symposium (RemTech) 2024’ held in Banff, Alberta, Canada, where we promoted and introduced related products such as water treatment solutions.”

‘RemTech 2024,’ hosted by the Alberta Environmental Services Association (ESAA), is an annual event where major environmental service companies, institutions, and consumers from Western Canada gather to share the latest technology trends in groundwater treatment and seek collaboration opportunities. It is the largest environmental conference in Western Canada. At the 23rd event, over 50 companies and institutions operated exhibition booths, and more than 700 participants from over 100 organizations engaged in in-depth discussions on soil and groundwater contamination investigation and remediation technologies.

BizData participated under the joint venture name ecoAI innovates, which was jointly established with Canadian partner Trium Environmental (Trium). Through this, they introduced AISCT, a soil contamination analysis and prediction technology developed by Trium; NAIAD, a water treatment specialized technology developed by BizData; and AI-applied environmental solutions and service models jointly promoted by both companies.

Kim Tae-jin, CEO of BizData, stated, “If the NAIAD water treatment system is localized to suit overseas markets such as Canada, it is expected that overseas market development will accelerate. We will quickly develop new products tailored to local conditions.”

Gu Tae-hoon, CEO of BigBang Ventures, said, “Participation in RemTech 2024 is part of BigBang Ventures’ unique ‘pre-validation then investment strategy,’ which invests in startups with technologies that can be quickly validated in the global market. In particular, ecoAI innovates, a joint venture between Canadian local company Trium and Korea’s BizData, has a high potential to become a game changer in the traditional environmental sector.”
