Film 'Wang-gwa Saneun Namja' to Begin Filming in the First Half of Next Year
Actors Yoo Hae-jin, Park Ji-hoon, and Yoo Ji-tae will collaborate in director Jang Hang-jun's new film.
Distributor Showbox announced on the 25th that filming for the movie 'The Man Who Lives with the King (working title)' will begin in the first half of next year. The story revolves around the village chief and villagers who take care of a young former king exiled from the throne. Park Ji-hoon plays the exiled king, Yoo Hae-jin portrays the village chief of Gwangcheon-gol, Yoo Ji-tae is the most powerful figure of the era, Jeon Mi-do plays a palace lady who has been exiled, and Kim Min plays the village chief's son. Lee Joon-hyuk and Park Ji-hwan also make special appearances to add vitality to the story.
Director Jang is taking on a historical drama for the first time with this film. Production is handled by ONDA Works and BA Entertainment.
