"I Divorce Because of Yulhee," YouTuber's Claim Refuted
"Choi Minhwan Put Money in My Chest in Front of Family"

Yulhee (26), a former member of the group Laboum, has made allegations against her ex-husband Choi Minhwan (31) of FT Island.
On the 24th, Yulhee uploaded an untitled video on her YouTube channel 'Yulhee's House.' In the video, she hesitated, saying, "I’m still unsure if it’s right to bring up responsibility or faults regarding the divorce," and then claimed, "About a year before the divorce, a major incident occurred, and from that point, our married life changed 180 degrees."
Yulhee stated, "Before that incident, in front of family members, he (Choi Minhwan) touched my body or even tucked money here (on my chest)." She explained, "It was when we were playing Go-Stop as a family, and my ex-husband, feeling good after winning money while the family wasn’t looking, tucked the money into the collar of my pajama that had a chest area." She added, "How would I have known about places like that at that age? Later, I realized that kind of drunken behavior was a habit." Regarding her appearance on Channel A's 'Oh Eun-young's Golden Counseling Center' in December 2022 with Choi Minhwan, she said, "It had been a month or two since the incident happened, and I wasn’t in a sound state of mind. I thought, 'Why should I forgive a cheating husband?'" but explained, "I didn’t want to break up the family, and I appeared on the show to try to forget that incident."
Later, a phone call recording between Choi Minhwan and another man from July to August 2022 was released. In the recording, Choi Minhwan contacts his older brother, Mr. A, saying, "I snuck out just now, please make a reservation," "I need to pay 2.3 million won from last time, please send me the account number," and "They say there’s no girl here today." The "major incident" Yulhee referred to as the decisive reason for the divorce was Choi Minhwan’s visits to a prostitution establishment.
Previously, YouTuber and former entertainment reporter Lee Jin-ho claimed on the 23rd, "The biggest reason the two divorced was the situation during COVID-19," adding, "FT Island’s concert activities stopped, and Yulhee became more active externally as an influencer. This led to conflicts with Choi Minhwan, who prioritized childcare and family." He also said, "One day before an FT Island concert, Yulhee ran away from home for 4 to 5 days, causing Choi Minhwan great distress," and "Although Yulhee returned home later, they announced their divorce shortly after."
Meanwhile, Yulhee and Choi Minhwan married in 2018 and divorced last December after about five years. The couple has one son and twin daughters.
