TS Trillion, the manufacturer and distributor of the popular anti-hair loss shampoo ‘TS Shampoo,’ announced on the 25th that its local subsidiary in China has signed an export contract worth approximately 2 billion KRW for the self-hair dye product ‘The Good Dye’ with Cheongdam Global, a global beauty distribution specialist, last August. The company stated that this is the largest contract for a single hair dye product and that the product has been progressing smoothly since its launch.
Since signing the contract, TS Trillion has been accelerating the production of 150,000 units of the pre-ordered ‘The Good Dye’ and preparing for subsequent orders. To gauge the market response in China, a promotional event was held, where 16,000 units of the hair dye sold out within a single day, demonstrating a strong reaction.
The company views this response from the Chinese market as a positive signal for the demand for TS hair dye and expects a rapid increase in order volumes, thus preparing to meet the demand. Additionally, TS is also preparing to expand its product lineup beyond hair dye.
Kim Yong-chae, CEO of TS Trillion, said, “Through this market test, we have high expectations for the growth of the Chinese hair dye market. ‘TS Good Dye,’ made with gentle and non-irritating ingredients, is expected to achieve good results in the Chinese market and serve as a foothold to expand into other products.”
Meanwhile, ‘The Good Dye’ is manufactured with safe ingredients that exclude PPD (para-phenylenediamine) and contain proteins such as keratin and methionine, as well as plant-derived ingredients like houttuynia cordata, iris root, and centella asiatica. It minimizes scalp and hair burden and post-dye damage, making it a steady-selling product widely loved by consumers both domestically and internationally.
TS Trillion recently launched the X-Biotin Triple Solution Shampoo, developed based on 17 years of expertise, and the GD Shampoo for teenagers, successfully introducing various functional scalp products targeting hair loss, scalp, and hair health. The company is expanding its global distribution through domestic and overseas exports.
