About 40 Sales Booths Featuring Daily Necessities, Fashion Accessories, Food Products, and More

Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that it will hold the "2024 Yeongdeungpo Small Business Sales Exhibition" at the Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Plaza on October 30th in celebration of Small Business Day.


This event is organized to commemorate "Small Business Day," designated annually on November 5th, to promote excellent products of local small business owners and self-employed individuals and support the development of sales channels. Through this, small business owners can secure new customer bases, and residents can purchase various products at reasonable prices.


This year’s sales exhibition will be held in two sessions. The first session will take place on October 30th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Plaza, and the second session is scheduled for November 27th at the same time and location.


The event will feature participation from the Yeongdeungpo Chamber of Commerce, the Yeongdeungpo Small and Medium Business Association, and the Yeongdeungpo Small Business Federation, operating a total of 40 sales booths. The products for sale include a variety of items such as ▲daily necessities ▲fashion accessories ▲food products.

Additionally, the district will operate a promotional booth for the "Yeongdeungpo Love Gift Certificate" at the event. The Yeongdeungpo Love Gift Certificate is a prepaid mobile gift certificate that can be used at affiliated stores within the district. Consumers receive discount benefits when purchasing, and affiliated stores are exempt from payment fees. The district plans to support more residents and small business owners in enjoying these benefits through promotion.


Moreover, the district operates the annual "Eoullim Market," providing stable sales channels for local merchants facing difficulties due to e-commerce and other challenges. At the Eoullim Market held in front of the district office plaza, agricultural products directly shipped from production areas can be purchased at affordable prices, and specialty products from the district and its sister cities can also be found.


Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, stated, "Through this sales exhibition, I hope small business owners can pioneer new sales channels, and residents can develop affection and interest in the local commercial district." He added, "We will continue to do our best to revitalize the local economy by preparing various support projects that provide practical help to small business owners, who are the pillars of the regional economy."
