'Plastic Contamination' Bibigo Jinhan Kimchi Dumplings, Sales Suspended and Recalled

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety announced on the 24th that it will suspend sales and recall certain 'Bibigo' dumpling products confirmed to contain plastic.

The recalled product is 'Bibigo Jinhan Kimchi Dumplings' 400g, manufactured by CJ CheilJedang, with a consumption date of June 23, 2025.

The Ministry urged consumers who purchased the product to stop consumption and return it to the place of purchase.

CJ CheilJedang stated, "We are conducting a voluntary recall with consumer safety as our top priority," and added, "We will further strengthen our quality control system to prevent recurrence in the future."
