Samsung Securities won the Best Customer-Friendly Award in the Mobile Trading System (MTS) category at the '2024 Asia Smart Finance Awards.'
Samsung Securities' 'mPOP' received high marks for improving user accessibility and convenience as well as enhancing investment information services. It also succeeded in differentiation with the 'S.Lounge' service targeted at digital high-net-worth individuals, and its efforts to build an online stock and product trading system were positively evaluated.
The core of MTS is accessibility and convenience. Samsung Securities revamped the MTS home screen this year. Customers can now immediately check their account balances, market information, and trading status on the home screen. The domestic and international stock chart functions were enhanced to improve trading convenience. The common subscription process for products such as bonds, funds, and equity-linked securities (ELS) was improved, and redundant or unnecessary screens were consolidated.
Investment information services are also being improved. The 'IPO at a Glance' feature allows users to view IPO information at a glance, and the 'Top Theme Movers' gathers top themes from the domestic and U.S. stock markets as well as overseas exchange-traded funds (ETFs). A unique aspect is the investment essays presented in a web novel format. The 'Stock Additional Purchase Calculator,' which can pre-calculate changes in the average purchase price when buying additional shares, and the 'Stock Accumulation' service, which enables installment investments in stocks and ETFs through Individual Savings Accounts (ISA) and pension accounts, were created to enhance convenience.
True to its reputation as a 'prestigious firm for high-net-worth individuals,' the digital lounge, S.Lounge, targeted at customers meeting asset and transaction amount criteria, is also gaining popularity. S.Lounge is subdivided into three lounges: consulting, investment information, and seminar lounges. In S.Lounge, customers can handle tasks and receive investment consultations via digital private bankers (PB) and phone. Consultations on unlisted stocks and comprehensive tax matters are also provided. For ultra-high-net-worth individuals, a 'dedicated care' service is offered as part of the private service.
